yes, I do not make much money with my projects. but maybe eventually I’ll make a product that is successful in many dimensions - both used by people and self-sustainable. for now focusing on “used by people” part. Also, ideally I do think that most features for most of my products should be free and only pay only for some extra stuff that not everyone needs.

I’m not 100% sure myself. But I think it’s just that few people with followers posted about it. Eg https://x.com/nishuang made a post and many people joined. Same happened 2 years ago with my other product - montaigne. So it’s kind of organic in a way that some people with followers discovered it and posted to their audiences.

Alto computer notifications are beautiful

Just saved 39USD per month. Finally migrated database from planet scale to Cloudflare d1 for one of the old projects. Planetscale used to be free and then they enabled paid plans in April and I was paying that because it was decent amount of work to do migration. Created a script to do that. Maybe I’ll do small online mini app for such migrations. Because they suck

Working on few fixes. Try to reduce load on the database.
