Hm. I’m thinking about creating some bots. They can be mentioned like people. Can be info bots, can be games. I have some ideas - but I think they would make more sense with more people. But curious if this sparks some ideas or nostalgia for everyone else?

Just saved 39USD per month. Finally migrated database from planet scale to Cloudflare d1 for one of the old projects. Planetscale used to be free and then they enabled paid plans in April and I was paying that because it was decent amount of work to do migration. Created a script to do that. Maybe I’ll do small online mini app for such migrations. Because they suck

Hm. Maybe I should open source at least web part of the project. Maybe someone will add dark mode at least. Or start work on PWA

Yes, many people requested it. I mentioned it before. I didn’t do it just because it might show NSFW content. I had one person posted inappropriate message in the first few days. So I need to do a bit more work for global feed. I think I would just hide all pictures and videos from such feed. So nothing shows up accidentally. But all photos and videos would be available when clicked on post or user

😳 wow. That is a lot of. Maybe bots? Because I noticed that every time I add new subdomain almost immediately some other bots starts sending random requests. So I assume there are bots that constantly monitor DNS for changes. And then next step when it changes they do things to new records

Discovered yesterday Nate Bargatze. Well ok. Youtube recommended it. I didn’t discover him myself. Watched his special form 2019 and loved it. Surprised I’ve never heard of him before. Then I watched interview and he said that he does “clean act”. Meaning family friendly. Meaning no penis jokes. And I’m surprised now even more. How come more comedians don’t do that?

Didn’t look into PWA for a long time. What functionality do you have in mind? Meaning what would it bring? App icon and notifications? Or what else is possible with PWAs nowadays? I was also thinking that I can create native iPhone app. It’s easy nowadays and I do have some experience. But again, the benefit would be basically and icon + native notifications. So I difinitely don’t want to do that at this stage
