Agree. But it’s way more difficult to implement than publishing.
I can do deletes for the current day(and for the history from UI). It’s easier, but then it’s even harder to explain for people.
The real issue that you can go and delete message from a year ago in iMessage.
that would mean I would need to sync history for every user every time. That would be expensive.
That is why deletes are on the web.
Mostly because of technical complexity.
Chiming in here but how about Edits in iMessage? It seems like right now if I try to edit what I sent in iMessage it just gets deleted will that be something that changes in the future or a way to edit online?
