Unpopular opinion: Ban TikTok or STFU about it. I’ve been reading these headlines for years, and nothing has happened. I also don’t think anything will really happen. It will either merge or it won’t. I doubt the land of the free will ban something so widely accepted and used. Feels like fear-mongering and engagement farming.

We are getting a Britto store in Charlotte this month, and I hate to be pessimistic, but I really don’t think this is the best location. Folks will see “Happy Art,” think it’s cute, and then see the price and walk away.

The NC Secretary of State recently announced that charitable giving is down this year. That is a common occurrence during an election year. After review, NC charitable donation is down almost 40% YoY. To compare, during the 2020 election cycle, solicitations were down ~13%. This announcement also comes on the heels of #GivingTuesday, which just announced a 16% increase YoY, collecting a total of 3.6 Billion in donations. What is happening in NC?

Sunday scaries are starting early 👻

I have always enjoyed lo-fi music while I’m working on difficult tasks, but I have noticed that different levels of lo-fi can come up on a playlist, and it’s not always consistent. I have recently found Latin Jazz and will be incorporating this into my daily playlist. It seems to keep a consistent beat, and it’s almost always upbeat. I'm very pleased.

I have never enjoyed the holiday season. It consists of everyone trying to one-up each other and who can get the better gift. Internally, the belief has been baked in that every year has to be better than the last.
