I keep saying this same kind of thing. I still have to unload and load the dishwasher and we think we’re going to see a complete changeover to self-driving cars in my lifetime? I don’t know man,,,
We cannot make smart locks to work or electrics stoves.
Yet we are going to drive in self-driving cars.
My phone freezes 5 times per week trying to open the door. Imagine car freezes on the road.
Quality is not respected nowadays.
I saw some demo of the robotic dishwasher recently!
Maybe there a re bigger money in car sales and maybe that would force us to have fully autonomous cars way before smart lock app stops crashing my phone.
Monetary incentive is the only thing that explains this to me.
It’s like we pay 10USD per months or something for smart locks and we pay 50K USD for a car.
So maybe cars are better engineered then simple smart locks apps.
