Faith and reason are intertwined faculties rather than contradictory approaches to understanding reality. The book of Hebrews sets faith against sight, not reason. Faith acknowledges there is an unseen reality. Regardless in the end, we need an intervention from outside the system.

I’d normally be ranting about a broken algorithm, but it's delightful that YouTube keeps serving me this performance of the Sibelius violin concerto by Hilary Hahn. I've probably listened to it a dozen times now, and I enjoy it every time.
The Bible has been helping me make sense of this world. I appreciate how plainly Psalm 49:9, 12 states: > No one can pay enough to live forever and not rot in the grave…Even though people may be very rich, they don’t live on and on. They are like the animals. They die.
It feels all the more important in a climate where doomscrolling and toxic consumption are the norm

I picked up a tennis racket for the first time on 10 years today to introduce my son to the sport. He loves it and I’m excited to play again.
There is something alluring about a single text field to add to the feed and not much else interaction. It disconnects writing from reading what’s been published.
