I have always liked the Christmas build-up days, right to the 24th, when many things are magically sparking and glittering. There is a sense of expectation in the air and Christmas seems all about joy and wishes, and it seems all the wishes will become true in the new year. Not to mention there is also Christmas shopping, when it seems a legitimate time to spend money to treat oneself and others, when it is the time to be generous to the unfortunate ones, when shopping seems to have some special effects.

Age must have got me up, I feel tension and pain on my left forearm and upper arm. I am not as flexible as before and definitely feel the stiffness in my body. To play the violin, the left arm needs to be twisted to an angle, yet the hands need to be relaxed in order to play in correct intonation. I have been working on my hand frames by play scales constantly yet my pinky pulls me back in the progress. More exercise on the pinky and left arm, that what I have concluded after watching numerous YouTube videos and spoke my teacher. I never thought body and music is connected, yet I should have known.
