It’s becoming clearer and clearer to me as I grow older that feelings hold power on their own, because logic and emotion don’t necessarily interfere each other. When I get stuck in philosophy, I sometimes turn to neuroscience. They say the limbic system is where one person’s emotions can influence another’s. No reasoning included. Karl Jaspers has a famous quote, “Education is like a tree shaking a tree, a cloud inspiring a cloud, a soul awakening another soul.” Somehow, I’m convinced it all comes down to feeling and passion. Knowledge, in the end, matters the least.
Most of the time, I don’t generate content, I collect. That’s already shaping me.
2021 Jan 2, hotpot bubbling in Archipelago. Miss everyone there.
The audio below is named “2020 Nov 24 16:29, walking by the bamboo forest of the School of Japan Studies” That was a group of loud birds.
My VoiceMemo is full of sounds, not words. It’s always nostalgic yet appealing to listen back to a piece of audio from four years ago. Back then I was a junior in college, full of anxiety and passion, with a sense of hope and frustration towards the world. I was eager to explore every snippet, from the birds chirping at 4pm to the frost on the grass in the morning. I believed in ethics, convinced that logic and philosophy hold the key to the true goodness. Now, I still hold onto some of those passions, but others I’ve let go of. Time flys.

In terms of AI IDE, Bolt.new has wayyyy better UI&UX than cursor even when it’s still a web app.
